This is a piece of Wheel of Time fanart. I used to paint this genre like crazy a few years back, but have calmed down since then. In any case, I was always fascinated with Lanfear, and this idea about "perfect beauty", so this is a recent take on her. Perfectly beautiful? To some, perhaps. But it is an impossible concept. :) (Painter 7, 2002)

I do like the sweeping tone this picture caries, a contrast between good and evil, nightmare and dream, beauty and ugliness. Very well done.

Well.. while it may be an impossible concept... it's a wonderful piece of work and she is truely lovely. I'm of the opinion that the perfectly beautiful are often that way because of their innerselves... I've seen for too many perfect faces that open their mouths and suddenly become horrid.... Anyway I am going off on a tangent. This is very nciely done.

I love the colours you have used in this. I have never seen wheel of time but also think that idea of perfect beauty is interesting, since everyones idea of beauty is different :) The faces on the side are great and remind me of " the scream" I also like the lighting and the sparkly dust. The rendering of the cloth is superb :) great work :D

::Waves a little WoT flag:: I love Wheel of Time, it's one of my favorite series! Robert Jordan is such an amazing writer. *Cough* NEway, I really like this, that's almost exactly how I pictured Lanfear too. Amazing job on the shading. I :heart: this piece.
